Exclusive – Yoga, Paddle, Picnics, Summer 2019
Coed Gwilym Park & Swansea Canal
£50pp including all equipment, tuition & refreshments

Summer 2019 dates coming soon!

Join Helen from Sup Yoga Swansea for an afternoon of uplifting Yoga, Paddleboarding & homemade vegan refreshments on Swansea Canal at the beautiful Coed Gwilym Parc in Clydach.

We will start the afternoon with half an hour gentle classical yoga under the trees, to warm us up for a paddle up the canal towards Trebanos lock. Learn how relax & stretch out your body before getting to grips with paddling techniques and learning to stand on your board on the open water.

Once on the canal, after a short paddle, we reach a lovely open space under the canopy, where we will clip our boards together and enjoy trying out a few yoga postures on the board.

The session will allow you to get comfortable with both paddling and yoga and offers the unique opportunity to combine the two. Soak in the scenery, the wildlife and the views from the water.

On return to the park, sit back and relax on the picnic blankets while Helen, who is also a vegan chef, serves you tea, delicious vegan cake and a selection of sandwiches while you reflect and chat about your experience.

No previous experience of yoga or paddleboarding is required. Participants must be able to swim 150m unaided and tread water for at least 10 minutes. Please advise of any food allergies.

Places cost £45 including all equipment, tuition & refreshments. Advance booking required and we operate a no refund policy.

Karyn attended the last event, Paddle & Pancakes. She said “Thank you so much for the lesson and pancakes today, it was amazing. The eating together afterwards was a brilliant way to chat with the others in the group.”

Six spaces available. To book your place, please email or send a message via Sup Yoga Swansea Facebook.

Instructor Helen is a 500hr fully qualified yoga teacher and WSA Foundation Sup Instructor who also works as a vegan chef & consultant. Sessions run in partnership with The Sup Hut, Swansea.
